3 in 1 helmet

Many sports require participants to have head protectors, but these are separate hats that are not interchangeable because of different safety standards. However, Cébé Company, France has just introduced a helmet for three different sports: climbing, skiing and cycling.

The helmet, called Trilogy , reached all three European standards at the same time: CEN 1078 for mountain biking; CEN 1077 for skiing and CEN 12492 with mountain climbing.

Safety standards must also come with convenience, for example, a bicycle helmet must have a vent to help cool the head while skiing needs to have an insulating structure to keep the head warm.

Cébé's Trilogy hat overcomes various requirements by structure with custom modules. The basic part of the hat is an arched structure, incorporating a mountaineering ventilator, easily attaching a face mask to the bicycle subject and the warm pads when climbing the mountain .

According to Gizmag magazine, Trilogy helmet will be sold for 150 Euro.
