In 2005, there was also the IT Examination Council (ITPEC) composed of representatives from 7 Asian countries. With the coordination of ITPEC, since 2006, IT examinations in Vietnam will be held simultaneously on the same day, the same exam, in parallel with Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand. These examinations are fully recognized as equivalent to the examination held in Japan.
