3D edition in Belgium
Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure on 9 March introduces a special edition in which all photographs and advertisements are displayed under 3D effects.
In order to read this edition, buyers receive special glasses, the kind of glasses most 3D moviegoers use.

Editor-in-chief La Derniere Heure, Hubert Leclercq, said the paper spent two months preparing for the release of this special edition and 115,000 more copies than the regular issue. The aim is to publish the entire newspaper in 3D.
This is the first newspaper in Europe to be published in 3D, although earlier in some newspapers have appeared a few 3D photos. According to Leclercq, the newspaper accepted the challenge in the context of 3D technology has been applied in the fields of game production, film and television.
