3D print technology has traditionally used plastic as a cheap material, as well as most of the materials. However, the materials made from plastic have not yet brought a sense of luxury and the eyes.

The ink that Makerbot introduces is PLA but it is added to some special substances to create colors and surfaces identical to the materials of limestone, wood and metal. With this new technology, we can easily create works of art such as sculpture, fine art furniture in a very simple way that still make sure to look real.

Not only that, with this new material, the printed objects are similar in nature to the basic materials. For example, with wood you can grind and polish varnish, or with metals, which also conduct electricity and magnetize.

According to Makerbot, with this new technology we are able to replace all of the old processing methods and replace it with 3D printing. In the future from the production of home appliances to construction or artwork can also be completely replaced by 3D printing technology.
