9X set the record for the youngest person flying around the world

Completing a 45,000km journey in 54 days on a self-driving airplane, the 18-year-old has just signed his name on the Guinness Book of World Records.

Completing the journey at the age of 18, 7 months, 21 days, 9X, the title of the youngest person going around the world alone was established by Matt Guthmiller (American) when he was 19, 7 months, 15 days.

During a long journey of 45,000km, Lachlan stops at 24 locations in 15 countries to refuel, as well as take more than a week off to visit family and visit London, England.

9X said, in order to safely carry out the meaningful journey, he had to undergo rigorous training flights at home for more than two years. The biggest difficulty of Smart is the bad weather and the contact with air traffic control stations of countries.
