The meteorite fell on the house of people in Uruguay

Gonzalo Tancredi, Dean of Udelar Science Department, said the meteorite weighs 712g. This is the 15th time in 100 years that a meteorite phenomenon has fallen into a house in the world.

The owner of the house informed the scientists about the incident to conduct research on the meteorite.

Uruguayan scientists have collaborated with Brazil's National Museum of Rio de Janeiro and Argentina's San Juan Space Science Institute to study falling fragments and come to the conclusion that this is a piece of stone texture.

Usually there are two types of meteorites , one of which is made of stone and one of metal . Now scientists are looking around the house with another meteorite.

For the scientific world, meteorites are extremely valuable. Some types contain particulate matter that does not change properties all the time since the solar system was formed. Through studying these particles, scientists can find out more about the formation of Earth and other planets.
