Find out the cause of meteorite falling in Russia

Russian scientists said that the meteorite 'chose' Earth was the destination because it had previously collided with other meteorites in the universe.

Professor Erik Galimov, a lecturer at Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry, said the horrifying meteorite explosion in Chelyabinsk city was due to previous "space collisions" of the meteorite and its inhabitants other 'space people' in the universe.

'The falling meteorite Chelyabinsk has experienced many clashes in space before entering the Earth's atmosphere. This may have caused it to be split into pieces, and one of those pieces caused a devastating explosion on February 15. Such explosions are less likely to occur when meteorites fall, ' Galimov said.

Currently, pieces of meteorite found in Ural have been transferred to the laboratory of Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Chemical Analysis to re-examine the meteorite test results given by Ural Federal University.

The windows were broken, the walls fell, and more than 1,500 people were injured due to broken glass fragments which were the consequences of the shockwave of the explosion with thousands of houses of people in the Chelyabinsk area.
