Admire the impressive telescope of Jupiter recorded

Jupiter's magnetic field is hundreds of times higher than Earth's, so the aurora phenomenon on this planet never stops and has a greater intensity than on Earth.

The impressive image you are viewing is the aurora in the ultraviolet range captured by the "Hubble" telescope in the far north of Jupiter. EurekAlert quoted experts as saying: this is one of the most colorful cosmic pictures that we humans have ever taken.

The mechanism of the aurora formation on Jupiter is the same as on Earth, they are produced when high-energy solar wind particles are driven by magnetic fields entering the planet's atmosphere at the polar regions. However, because Jupiter's magnetic field is hundreds of times higher than Earth's, the aurora phenomenon on this planet never stops and is much greater than on Earth.

This Jupiter aurora contains hundreds of times more energy than aurora phenomena that take place on Earth. At the same time, instead of solar storms, magnetic storms cause an aurora on Earth, Jupiter's aurora can form by another source.

Photos are hard to believe

Once a month "Hubble" tracks the aurora on Jupiter. NASA experts and ESA (European Space Agency) compared two images: one taken by the "Hubble" telescope in the ultraviolet range, and the second shot in 2014 at infrared wavelengths. The results are impressive.
