Admire the world's oldest

The celestial altimeter is considered to be the oldest 'computer' in the world. As with computers, this device works by entering input information, and then receiving output information.

Basically, it is a very complicated magnetic magnetic measuring device used by astronomers, navigators and astrologers. This device is more than 15cm in diameter, used to determine and predict the position of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars. With a magnetic magnetic measuring device, it is not difficult to identify the time of day and determine when the sun rises or sets.

Looking at this golden 'computer' , you will be delighted by the elaborately carved details on it. In the middle of the device, you can see the sky image divided into constellations.

This tool was used during the Greek period - ancient Rome, the golden age of Islam, medieval times in Europe and the Renaissance.
