Aircraft will appear in the next few years.
Military vehicles with wings on the body can appear on the ground and the sky in mid-2015.
The Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has announced that AAI and Lockheed Martin have made two "viable versions" of military-grade vehicles. From these two versions, engineers can make test versions in mid-2015, Aviation Week said.
At the request of DARPA, the ' Humvee Flying Vehicle' - the name of the vehicle - must travel on all terrain, overtake obstacles easily and be armed with small arms. It is capable of flying into the air as well as landing in the vertical direction in a short time. Simple control mechanism so that anyone with a driver's license can drive. Light enough to fly up by its own lift. Even so, DARPA says it still needs a generator and wing (or helicopter-like propeller). The size of the car must be large enough to accommodate four people, including the driver.

It is said that from now until 2015 is too long time to wait. But engineers say humans have been waiting for the car for about a century, so that time is too short.
Of course, it is not easy to take the carriage out of society. Stephen Waller, director of DARPA's fleet management program, says that their future is 'very promising'.
"Let's hope that someday the carriages will fly on the road ," he said.
