Russia built super aircraft

In the next 15 to 20 years, Russia will launch a giant aircraft with an unprecedented tonnage in the airline industry.

At a press conference at the end of the 2011 Air Show , General Director Victor Kobzev of Beriev's Aviation Science and Technology Union announced the agency's new achievements and long-term plans. Among the major issues, it is most noticeable that the agency will put into operation a giant aircraft on the basis of cooperation with the Russian Central Aerodynamics Institute.

This super-plane is named ' Project 2500 ' and it will take 15 to 20 years for it to be born. If the project succeeds, the children of Russia's best aircraft designers will be able to fly across the Atlantic with a large payload.

Bobzev said: ' Previously, such a fly was just a dream but today there are the necessary technologies to make it a reality. Even in terms of engines, there is not a single one in the world that carries a load like this one . '

According to him, the market of large passenger transport vehicles increased rapidly. Although the economic crisis is taking place, the demand for passenger transport vehicles has increased by an average of 3 to 5% per year. And the demand for aircraft manufacturers in the world can not meet.

He stressed: ' We have thoroughly researched the market, including the shipping and container shipping market and concluded that if we can produce this super-large aircraft we can compete with the work of sailors' .
