Amazing spectacle: Green-tailed Parrot
Watch the exotic, 'exotic' beauty of the macaws in Tokyo.
Yoshinori Mizutani is a Japanese photographer and currently lives in Tokyo. When he first came to one of the busiest cities in this world, he was surprised to see a large flock of blue parrots flying across the sky.
He recalled that, seeing that strange scene, he was quite scared at first and felt like he was in a scene of a horror movie - a scene where people were attacked by countless large birds.
After calming down, Yoshinori started holding the camera and capturing this somewhat strange scene. The photos give viewers a new emotion when watching the birds with strange blue.
This is not a parrot of Tokyo but in the 1960s, a large number of these parrots were "imported" to Tokyo with the need to breed parrots for sight.
Some parrots do not have to live in captivity but are released into the wild. They just grow like that in large numbers.
However, the city now faces a new problem - the presence of a large herd of macaws right in the middle of the capital.
They not only hinder road users but also a dangerous alien species for the region's original animals due to the rapid growth.
These parrots are parked on telephone lines or nesting in large trees everywhere. The picture of Yoshinori photographer has shown a strange beauty, 'foreign' and somewhat aggressive.
Most photos were taken at night with flash. Therefore, the image seems surreal, reflecting this foreign bird's relationship with the surrounding environment.
Flash lights sometimes "cover" the birds in a bizarre way like they are mysterious creatures, not belonging to this world.
