America still leads the world in space research and exploitation

On April 17, in Beijing, China for the first time published a "Space Activity Assessment Report", stating that the United States, Russia and the European Union (EU) are still three major forces. take the lead in international space activities, and make forecasts that in a relatively long period of time, the US is still the absolute dominant country in this area.

The report said that there are now 12 countries fully capable of independently launching satellites globally. Of the total 159 launches of satellites, spacecraft entering the space globally in the period of 2012-2013, Russia, the US, China and EU countries are the leading countries - accounting for nearly 87%.

In terms of space utilization, as of August 2013, it is estimated that there are 1,084 satellites operating in orbit, in which the US has 461 satellites, followed by Russia with 111 satellites; The EU has 110 satellites. The United States is also the largest investor in the research, manufacture of anti-satellite devices and ballistic missile capabilities, as well as the most dense space test.

In terms of aerospace trade, as of August 2013, among satellites flying in orbit, dual-use satellites (used for both commercial and military purposes) account for 44% of the total refined, in which the US and Russia account for 86% of dual-use satellites. America is still the leading country in the field of civil aviation. Currently a part of the US military mission has completely relied on civilian equipment.

In terms of space resources, satellites orbiting satellites account for 48.9% of global satellites, satellites orbiting satellites account for more than 40%, of which the US accounted for 44% and 40 % total of these two types of satellites.
