Triton provides an ambition to provide three times the current amount of electricity that humans are using.

The device is the result of a multi-year study by Oscilla Power, a US-based renewable energy company.

The Triton machine has the following technical details: A floating platform on the water surface, on a platform with many generators - the main part of Triton. These generators will be made of a special alloy and connected to a heavy metal disc under the water. Normally, this metal disk will stand still, but when there is a wave, the disk will move, creating tension. After that, the generators will turn this strain into electricity.

The trait that makes Triton completely different from current technologies is that it has incredible durability. This machine has almost no moving parts. This also makes the user not spend much time and maintenance costs for Triton.

The team said each Triton could produce 600kW of electricity. When using under a large scale, the amount of electricity exploited will be very high.
