According to the BBC, little Saga Vanecek found ancient swords at Lake Vidöstern while on vacation with his family in Jönköping County, southern Sweden.

The sword was originally thought to be 1,000 years old but experts at the local museum thought it might have been 1,500 years ago.

Due to the drought, the water level at Vidöstern lake is very low at this time, so Saga can detect the sword.
The local museum representative - currently preserving treasures - said the sword was still in perfect condition.

From the discovery of the little girl Saga Vanecek, the museum and the local council have opened additional excavation campaigns at Lake Vidöstern. They found a brooch from the 3rd century.

The representative of Jönköping County Museum said that excavating the lake when completed could help detect more ancient objects.
