Ancient Greeks ever set foot in Canada?

Based on a study of documents by Greek historian Plutarch (46 - 119), the ancient Greeks could once set foot in Canada in 56 BC. If this were true, the Greeks had arrived in Canada before the Vikings for nearly a millennium.

A study concerning the Greek historian Plutarch's "De Facie" document shows that the ancient Greeks most likely arrived in Canada in 56 BC.

Specifically, a character in "De Facie" recounts a meeting with a Greek - who recently returned from a "great continent". This location is speculated by experts and scientists that might be Canada.

With sails with sails, Greeks can often visit Newfoundland, exploit gold and establish developed colonies for centuries.

However, because there is no concrete evidence to confirm these trips, many historians and archaeologists have rejected the fact that they once set foot in Canada.
