Another heartbreaking image of pollution of plastic garbage: Sharks die while sucking on water bottles

The alarming images of real plastic waste appear more and more.

There is growing evidence that the situation of plastic rubbish destroying nature is very serious. From pieces of trash in the belly of seabirds, whale abdomen, or most recently, a floating bottle shell on the sea for nearly 50 years that still "looks like new".

And recently, a photo posted by a British photographer helped many people realize how serious things are.

Small sharks suck plastic bottles.

A picture of the body of a dog fish (dogfish - a small shark) with a plastic bottle (it is believed that it is a plastic paper shell), found on West Somerset coast (England). Photographer Liz Elmont is the one who made the photo, and she said the truth behind the picture is even more serious than we thought.

"I walked for hours, enjoying the beautiful nature around. And then I saw what I shouldn't see," Elmont said.

"Only a thoughtless act of a person who has thrown away, but a life that has died cruelly."

You throw a bottle, or paper cover, that can be a small act. But everyone does it, the consequences are extremely large. Even if only you, if you count the total number of times you throw garbage over time, that is a very terrible number.

Plastic waste is washed ashore.

"We have to pay more attention to this planet before things get too late. Teach children to respect nature, to ensure that future generations inherit better heritage," Elmont said . .

Every year, millions of tons of plastic waste are discharged into the oceans. And according to a study published in PLOS ONE in August, plastic garbage exposed to the sun can emit greenhouse gases such as methane and ethylene. Since then, the process of global warming will be more severe.

"Throw away the garbage at the designated place, think about every action before you do it, and consider stopping using disposable plastic. It's not that difficult" - the photographer urgently shared.
