>>>250 apple varieties grow on a tree
Mr. Peter Collett, 83, has successfully planted a special apple tree that can produce more than 50 different apples on his 2,000-square-meter garden at Tangmere, West Sussex, England. Perhaps this is considered to be one of the greatest successes in his past 30 years of field research.
To achieve such success, the 83-year-old man used a method of grafting different varieties of apples into perennial apple trees. Mr. Collett's special apple tree harvests the rarest apple seeds, there are fruit varieties that have never appeared on the market.
With a hobby of growing small gardens, Mr. Collett has planted a total of 130 different apples on his family's garden. In addition to growing apples, his garden gathers about 30 other fruit trees such as pears, grapes, cherry, quince and pomegranate.
