Seeing the economic value of these two types of fish, supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Phu Tho province has implemented the project: 'Building a model to apply the technology of seed production and commercial fish farming. grave mausoleum and fish anh vu in Phu Tho province ' (implementation time is from April 2011 to April 2014). Up to now, Phu Tho has collaborated with the Aquaculture Research Institute I to receive technology for artificial reproduction of spotted and salted fish in lentil; Breeding broodstock fish including 150 dancers and 300 spotted fish.

As of July 2012, Phu Tho province has been experimenting to raise the amount of artificial spawning of 5,000 individuals, the average weight is 30g / head, the expected survival rate is 90%. Catfish fingerling has a total quantity of 20,000 individuals, reaching an average weight of 40g / fish, an expected survival rate of 90%.

From the success of this project, the Ministry of Science and Technology proposed the province to continue investing and perfecting technologies as well as planning fish farming areas to bring these two rare and precious fish species into key economic products of the province. At the same time, the Ministry of Science and Technology proposed the Department of Science and Technology of Phu Tho province to urgently develop a scheme to preserve the genetic resources of these two rare and precious fishes.
