The Japanese Bridgestone Corporation successfully synthesized high-cis polyisoprene (IR) rubber from Isoprene supplied by Ajinomoto - a partner company in the development of synthetic rubber for tires. This product is popular in the car manufacturing industry in many countries around the world.

Bridgestone Japan introduced many inventions to create ' 100% sustainable materials' products . IR derived from crude oil is a limited supply, so the company has studied methods of production from renewable sources. This helps ensure the supply of sustainable materials.

With advanced technology in the world, IR has been successfully synthesized from isoprene (of biomass origin) by Ajinomoto. Because IR can replace natural rubber, Bridgestone wants to develop it to become one of the most diverse sources of materials for tires.

Japan Bridgestone Corporation is developing step by step and proceeding to produce tires using '100% sustainable materials' (raw materials capable of regenerating and reusing).
