Asian and European Tet with Google's Doodle
Every year, Google offers a Doodle, a drawing on the homepage, to celebrate the new year. However, Doodle Lunar New Year and New Year have many differences.
2010
In 2010 in Asia, Google used the image of a tiger that symbolized a child that year.
As for Europe, the image is simpler, with only Google's shaping fireworks.
2011
Asian New Year 2011 with Google is not much different, still a symbolic armor.
For Europe, Google uses for itself a creative 'MMXI' Roman number.
Year 2012
Asia's 2012 is still the same as in previous years, it seems Google is pretty lazy.
Europe is not so clear, if you don't look at the top right corner calendar.
2013
Still a mascot, why is Google so lazy!
Doodle this time seems to have more atmosphere when creating a New Year cleanup scene.
Year 2014
In 2014, Google made its own doodle for Vietnam.
With Europe, Google has streamed GIF images to describe hot things of the year like World Cup, Flappy Bird .
2015
'This year's Asian New Year mascot is a goat, so doodle just having goats is enough' Google thinks.
As for 2015, there are only fireworks, it looks like this year, Google is lazy for both.
2016
