Backpack student tracking
Some students in Moscow (Russia) are equipped with a backpack system installed. As a result, parents can control the movement and, even, the context surrounding their child.
In Russia, the demand for special surveillance equipment is rising. Police advised parents to use the device for their children to protect them in all necessary cases.
Russia's SpaceTeam recently developed a new tracking device based on GLONASS (Russian satellite navigation) technology.
Equipment is small, waterproof and shockproof. Every 15 minutes, it sends a message to the parent coordinates the position of the child.
When a child wears this device, parents can hear what is going on around their baby. In case of necessity, the child can communicate with the parent using the 'panic' button. Accordingly, the device will record the sound and then send a text message to the parent's phone.
According to Voice of Russia, if the test is successful, young citizens of Moscow will be offered new backpacks.
