The floors are marble and carved with magnificent paintings. Statues and waterfalls are used for decoration everywhere. An elaborate heating system is made from hot air ducts that travel around the entire area.

"Romans have a lot of free time and the bathroom is where they spend their leisure," said archaeologist Darius A. Arya. "Because there you can eat well, get a massage, enjoy sex, you can talk, play games and exchange politics - you can spend the whole day here."

"But having a bathroom complex of this size and size is really rare," Ayra added.

The complex is located in a multi-storey villa area belonging to a Roman era, equivalent to today's billionaires. The man named Quintus Servilius Pudens is a friend of Emperor Hadrian. It is still unclear whether the bathroom area is open or only for guests.

"These people live in the luxury of silk velvet and can absolutely provide free entertainment to others," Arya said.

According to the researchers, the Romans attach great importance to bathing and turning it into a ritual. Meetings are scheduled at the bathroom. Everyone in turn went through a series of rooms with varying temperatures, soaking in hot water and cool water. Bathing has become a social event besides the basic purpose of cleaning and relaxation.
