Canadian billionaire Guy Laliberte and two astronauts left the Baikonur space center by Russian ship today to enter space.

The founder of Cirque du Soleil entertainment company paid $ 50 million to realize the dream of space exploration. The rocket carries the Russian Soyuz vessel to leave the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan.

The 50-year-old billionaire is the first Canadian to fly into space. Laliberte said he wanted to be the first clown in space and intended to make fun of the two friends when they slept. Fly with him as American astronaut Jeffrey Williams and Russian astronaut Maxim Surayev, Canadian Press.

Laliberte will have a broadcast from the ISS space station on October 9 to increase understanding of the Earth's clean water resources, which are increasingly depleted. This single billionaire will have 12 days in space before returning to earth.
