Blind people have the ability to locate by sound
Although he was completely unable to see, a man in the US still rode his bicycle and climbed the mountain thanks to the ability to locate by sound like bats and dolphins.
Daniel Kish, 47, was born in Montebello, California, USA. When he was born, he had retinoblastoma that caused doctors to take both eyes after 13 months to save his life. After that, he installed fake eyes.

But the heavens compensated Kish for a miraculous ability. From the age of two, he began to define the surroundings with sound waves. Kish used his tongue to make a sound and then relied on the sound reverberating from the environment to locate the surrounding objects, Popular Science reported.
Sound waves that Kish emits can reach speeds of 300m / sec. Nowadays, Kish's sound wave positioning has reached the supreme level, because he can describe the surroundings in detail. Thanks to that ability, he can participate in all activities like normal people.
"Although it is impossible to distinguish materials from objects, I can accurately describe their texture and surface , " he said.
Media recognized Kish as one of the world's leading experts in audio positioning. He also earned a master's degree in developmental psychology and a special education master's degree.
In 2000, he founded World Access for the Blind - a non-profit organization to help blind and blind people. Kish and his organization have taught audio positioning techniques to at least 500 blind children around the world.
