Wishing to help visually impaired people easily read and handle information and images, Nguyen Thien Nhan (former 12A5 alumni, Le Quy Don high school) and Dang Huynh Khanh Ly (former student 12/7 class, Hoa Vang high school has launched the model "Braille Printer - Braille printer for blind people". The invention has achieved "bumper" prestigious awards at competitions: the second prize of the Young Informatics Contest (2015), the first prize of the National Science and Technology Innovation (2016), the first prize of the Youth Competition Children nationwide take place in October 2016.

Nhan shared: "In order to get the results as we are now, we have experienced many difficulties, there are times when we seem to give up. But because of the passion for creation, we want to support products. In part, for the visually impaired, we have been constantly striving and determined to make it to the end, and after 7 months of studying, with the help of the instructor, both have presented patent for sending to competitions in science and technology field ".
Unlike normal printers that use ink nozzles, Nhan and Ly's Braille printers use the needle tip under the impact of temperature to create braille on hard paper surface. The case is made of plastic, components used from recycled materials, so light weight (about 1kg). Conquer the international playground
It is known that the two "children" of the two are about to join the international exhibition in Japan (May 2017). Coming to the exhibition in the future, the model will be improved. Instead of receiving data by USB or connecting to a computer, Braille printers will have a keyboard to help the blinds easier to print. In addition, the weight of the model will be more compact than the current one, can carry with you.

After winning the first prize in the 2016 National Youth Youth Contest , because of busy studying at school, the invention has not been given adequate attention.
