Brain size decisive political views!

A new British study shows that in the brains of people with right-wing views, the central nervous system controls fear more than others.

According to the Telegraph, scientists at University College London (UCL) conducted brain scans of British and parliamentary members. They found that the size of two areas in the brain is directly related to the political views of volunteers who participated in the study.

The team found that people with conservative political views possessing a brain with a ganglion-central region are more involved in controlling emotional states and anxiety. However, the front of their brains - the area associated with courage and optimism - is smaller.

Because the research subjects are adults, it is difficult for UCL scientists to determine whether their brains have been so changeable through experience.

Professor Geraint Rees, head of the study, said: " We were surprised to discover that there is an area in the brain where we can predict political views. surprising because it suggests, there is something about the political viewpoint encoded in our brain structure through experience or something in our brain structure that plays a decisive role or leading to political views ".

The results of research by Professor Rees and colleagues reinforce the finding of a previous study that some people are endowed with a " free pathway ", which makes them more likely to search for things. Political points are less traditional. According to a team of scientists at the University of California (USA), this gene called DRD4 may even be stimulated by the extraordinary value of extreme ideas.
