Bright red lightning resembles jellyfish in the sky of America
Red light lines appeared in thunderstorms in Oklahoma, USA recorded by a cameraman.
The sight of a glowing red light like a jellyfish appearing intermittently in the sky was recorded by Paul Smith in Edmond, Oklahoma during a thunderstorm, MSN on October 23 reported. This weather phenomenon is often referred to as red deformed lightning.

Red heterogeneous lightning is an electrical discharge occurring above thunderclouds, about 80km from the Earth's surface. This phenomenon is rarely observed from the ground or even from outer space, because they are very high and last only a few milliseconds.
Paul Smith not only caught red heterosexual lightning but was lucky enough to shoot 6 times they appeared in the sky that day."I've always been interested in unusual weather patterns and natural phenomena. I've photographed aurora north, lightning and thunderclouds for several years but haven't seen anything so rare," Smith said. .
"After watching a few reddish lightning videos on YouTube, I always wanted to see them once and finally the opportunity came. I felt so special when I became one of the few witnesses and writers. this phenomenal phenomenon, " said Smith.
