Fungal infections make the vaginal fluid thicken, white, chewy, can also be slightly loose but no odor, vulva and vaginal mucosa are often red and very itchy.

Why are fungi still in the vagina that develop so much to cause fungal vaginitis? It is due to an imbalance in a woman's body, such as having to use antibiotics to treat urinary tract infections and antibiotics that kill all the 'you' bacteria living peacefully with yeast religion.

Because these bacteria are destroyed, the fungus has conditions to develop and cause inflammation. Other factors that can cause imbalance are pregnancy (due to changes in hormonal levels) - diabetes (causing sugar in the urine and vagina) - oral contraceptive pills High estrogen - taking immunosuppressive drugs - endocrine disorders or diseases of the thyroid gland - corticosteroid therapy.
