Cargo ship 'Progress M-61' successfully assembled with the ISS Station
Russia's Center for Orbital Flight Control announced at 1:40 am on August 6 (Hanoi time), Russia's " Progress M-61 " cargo ship has automatically assembled into public with the International Space Station (ISS).
The " Progress M-61 " vessel carries about 2.5 tons of goods including food, drinking water, fuel and technical equipment to supply the ISS station. " Ship M-61 " also brought with it 6 new computers to ISS to replace the computers that had been damaged since mid-June.
Currently the ISS station has two Russian astronauts working since early April this year, Fedor Yurchikhin and Oleg Kotov, with American astronaut Clayton Anderson working from June.
The " Progress M-61 " was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhsstan, on August 2.
