The python was unaware that someone approached and when it realized it was already in Sarel's hands.'I am very lucky to catch it. This is a big python , 'Sarel said.

The python is said to have repeatedly stole the farmers' ducks.

The dam area is a wonderful place to live for pythons and they often move around the area to find food, Sarel explained. Sarel then released the giant python in another area, far from the residential area.

African python is one of the largest pythons in the world. They used their strong teeth to grab their prey and then squeezed the victim to death. Most prey of pythons died of cardiac arrest.

Small prey like chickens, ducks and domestic cats are pythons' favorite subjects. But some giant Asian python species also beat the adult deer.

In 2017, an Indonesian man was eaten by pythons when he entered the palm forest. Once swallowed, the giant python takes days or weeks to fully digest.

This is Sarel's latest trophy in the past two weeks. Sarel last week caught a smaller python, after he swallowed two rabbits for breakfast.
