Cats have legs like people

Cats can use both limbs in simple actions, but they can only be used for complex operations.

Two psychologists in the UK claim that domesticated cats also have the right foot or left leg like ours.

Dr. Deborah Wells and Dr. Sarah Millsopp looked at 42 domesticated cats (half of them male) to see if they tend to be on one leg. They had previously discovered a number of other animals, such as horses and chimpanzees, that had similar properties.

The team found that cats can use both limbs in simple actions, but they can only be used for complex operations. For example, when taking salmon steak out of a small vase, all 21 female cats use the nails on the right leg. But 20 of the 21 males use the left leg and the other one has both legs.

' People can use any hand when doing simple things like opening doors, picking things up. But we can only use our dominant hand when writing or splitting firewood. The higher the complexity of the operation, the more likely we are to realize the real deal , 'Dr. Wells said.

Many studies show that the proportion of left-handed and left-handed people is higher in men than women.
