Changes will appear in the RC version of Windows 7
The new most recognizable points have just been shared by the Windows 7 development team with the community to comment on the upcoming Release Candidate.
The 3 main areas that will receive this change relate to User, Search and Organization, Device and Multimedia comments.
Windows Flip (ALT + TAB) with Aero Peek
Unlike Flip 3D, Aero Peek will bring program windows to display as a horizontal array on the screen on a mirror-like transparent background. Users will be able to preview and "pick up" an application very easily. Normally, users still press Alt + Tab to switch between windows, but when the number of windows is large, Aero Peek will appear.
Multi-touch support
Users can touch the touch keyboard to enter data, finger across the screen to call Aero Peek, drag and drop your finger and select an object. Multi-touch to help you use your hand with the function like right mouse: touch a finger to the icon and use the other finger to select in the drop-down menu list.
Clearly show the open application thumbnail
With a series of things that are opened in the form of thumbnails on the screen, the taskbar normally does not show that application clearly. The development team said they will improve this point, for example, the image on IE is more prominent when the website it opens is displayed as a thumbnail on the screen.
Lock the device without screensavers
The development team will enable to turn on the lock feature even if the user does not specify screensavers.
Listen to music on headphones better
Users complain sometimes the audio signal is not transferred well from their speakers to their headphones. The development team said they will upgrade the algorithm to detect new devices, making them more stable.
Shows clearly which file cannot be turned on
Some Windows Media Player files cannot be played but still displayed on the list confusing the user. In the new version, they will categorize unusable files, eg .m4a, .h263 . files.
Added support for new formats
Format from cameras, camcorders such as .MOV will be supported by Windows Media Player, making users not have to install any other software.
