However, the most common solution being used on a large scale in Vietnam is still using chemicals of foreign origin. However, these chemicals are claimed to be toxic, even very toxic. Mosquito incense is the same. Propoxur alone in most insect sprays has been found to be at high risk of developing leukemia and lymphoma, especially in children.

Therefore, Dr. Nguyen Trong Tin and his colleagues worked together to test a new solution with the goal of minimizing the amount of chemicals that must be used to control flies, mosquitoes or insects; increase safety when using; environmental protection and public health.

Accordingly, the solution is a combination of BQ01-10 preparations and Permetrin 50EC and Icon 2.5 SC chemicals (chemicals to kill flies, mosquitoes, under the list prescribed by the Ministry of Health).

Mr. Nguyen Trong Tin explained, the product BQ01-10 is a product from the scientific topic (RD) at the provincial level led by Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Head of Thanh Hoa Plant Quarantine Station.

The product of BQ01-10 has a special feature that is produced from herbs including clove and oval, which are familiar in Vietnam. BQ02-10 is not to kill insects but has an effect of repelling insects, helping to reduce the density of insects, thereby limiting the use of chemicals.

This composition will be mixed with Permetrin 50EC and Icon 2.5 SC. These are two chemicals that are currently widely used in killing mosquitoes and insects in our country. Permetrin 50EC and Icon 2.5 SC will be used at very low concentrations to increase the ability to repel BQ02-10.

Simple solution, can be deployed on a large scale

MSc Nguyen Trong Tin affirmed that this solution is not intended to destroy flies and mosquitoes but to scare off, a friendly solution being encouraged to apply today. Experiments show that the smell of clove, oval and Permetrin 50EC and Icon 2.5 SC will make flies, mosquitoes and insects 'stunned', 'intoxicated' or 'terrified' but they must be themselves. stay away for a long time. In this way, we will not have to use a large amount of chemical drugs to destroy them.

It is worth mentioning that the use of Permetrin 50EC and Icon 2.5 SC chemicals is not harmful to health, because the concentration is very low, many times lower than that can cause poison to people and pets .

The solution can be deployed immediately on a large scale, requiring no complicated techniques. After mixing Permetrin 50EC and Icon 2.5 SC with BQ01-10 at the appropriate concentration, we only need to spray at places where flies, mosquitoes or insects appear much. Scientists tested the solution at Nghi Son and Thanh Hoa cement plants on a scale of 113,936m ² . Initial results show that using this solution will help save costs from 6.0 to 7.3 times compared to traditional measures.
