About 10% of children surveyed think their scientific ability is reduced due to fear of friends. To avoid being threatened, 20% of girls actively reduce their math achievement, while in boys the rate is 10%.

The survey also showed that this frightening psychology caused 11% of students to stop practicing singing, 8% did not dare to practice drama, 9% did not practice dance and 8% quit playing their favorite sport.

The survey was conducted through the internet from August to October and was published on the UK anti-intimidation week starting on November 29.
