China: ... 75% of computers are infected with viruses

Nearly three-quarters of computers in China have been attacked by viruses during the period from May 2005 to May 2006. Even so, this rate still decreased by 6% compared to a year earlier.

The annual survey by the Chinese Ministry of Security conducted nationwide shows that the main cause of this worrying situation is that users lack the sense of maintenance and software error correction.

The main channels for spreading viruses are surfing the Net, downloading content to a USB drive or floppy disk.
