China appears strange seafood rain

On June 15, the coastal city of Qingdao, in Shandong Province, China was affected by a massive storm that severely affected trees and roads. However, what caught people's attention most was that the storm brought seafood such as shrimp, fish, octopus . all over the city.

After the storm, there were a lot of people on Chinese social network Weibo posting pictures showing the falling octopus, or shrimp, starfish on the car's wipers. These photos were posted with funny captions "seafood rain" and were shared by many people and discussed.

Meteorologists explained that the creatures were sucked by the storm and followed it to the sky, until they were returned to the mainland.

This is not too rare. Last year, a storm in Tampico, Mexico brought fish around the city. Similarly, there was also a match in India in Kerala city in 2008.
