China launched the High-Earth Earth Observation-2 satellite
On August 19, China successfully launched its most advanced Earth observation satellite named Cao-2.

The launch was made from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province.
Cao Phan-2 satellite was launched at 11:15 am Beijing time with Truong Chinh-4B boosters. This is a satellite capable of observing objects with a length of 1m or more and providing high-definition color images.
Cao Phan-2 is used for geographic and resource observation purposes, monitoring climate change and environmental changes, serving agricultural development, supporting disaster recovery and city planning.
Cao Phan-2 is the second of seven satellites to be launched into orbit by China in 2020 as part of the Cao Phan project with the goal of enhancing the ability to observe Earth. The project was launched in May 2010 and launched into orbit Cao-1 observation satellite in April 2013.
