China successfully launched a new map satellite

THX reported that, at 3:10 pm on May 6, China successfully launched the Thien Hoi I-02 (Tianhui I-02) satellite satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, West. North China.

The I-02 Angel Planet, launched by Changzhong 2-D rocket, went into the expected orbit. Another similar satellite, the Angel I, was launched into space in August 2010.

Developed and produced by a company of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group (CASC), Thien Hoi I-02 is mainly used to conduct scientific experiments, carry out surveys close to land resources and map territory.

Sensitive information and test results sent from the I-02 satellite will support both scientific research and China's economic development process.

This mission marks the 161st launch of the Truong Chinh missile line since April 24, 1970 when the Truong Chinh-1 rocket succeeded in bringing Dong Phuong Hong-1, China's first satellite into Space.
