China launches satellite information
Information satellite Zhongxing-10 left the Xuchang satellite launch center, southwest of Sichuan province, China this morning.
According to the control center, the satellite was successfully launched, then separated from the rocket to enter Earth's orbit exactly as it was at 1:13 this morning.
Satellite is capable of providing communications, broadcasting and data transmission services for Chinese people and some other regions in Asia.It will replace the Zhongxing-5B satellite introduced into space in 1988.
The new Zhongxing-10 communication satellite is designed and manufactured by the Space Technology Institute of China Science and Technology Corporation.
