China made the world's first 'can not hack' online video
China has just held its first intercontinental quantum video conference, which could not be the first hacker attack in the world between laboratories in Beijing and Vienna.
The organizers have used a new ground- level quantum communication system . The event is considered a breakthrough in the field of information security and can revolutionize the way people connect.
Quantum messages are by far the safest form of communication ever made by humans, since no hacker can penetrate and attack.
China has already built five ground-link stations in the mainland and Tibet.
While traditional encryption technology, which is used in most modern Internet connections, including email, is often based on the degree of difficulty of specifying certain algorithms, the key distribution technology The advanced QKD uses individual photons to ensure uninterrupted security between distant objects.
Basically, the quantum connection system consists of a QKD transmission, a photon emitter, a quantum receiver and analyzer.
The world's first intercontinental video conferencing video connects the Chunli Bai Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences with Beijing's Anton Zeilinger, director of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The Chinese Academy of Sciences says the QKD system is being tested for "potential applications, serving governments, banks, securities companies and insurers" in the world.
Chinese scientists also plan to make similar contacts between people in China and partners in four other countries, including Singapore, Italy, Germany and Russia.
According to the researchers, the technical issues previously limited the contacts at a distance of several hundred kilometers. However, they have now found a promising solution to this problem, including the use of an advanced satellite, called Micius, to further increase the connection distance. China has already built five ground-link stations in the mainland and Tibet.
