China successfully launched Tu Nguyen 3 satellite
On January 9, China successfully launched the Tu Yuan III satellite (Ziyuan III) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, north of Shanxi Province (China).

Tu Nguyen III satellite is a high-resolution remote-sensing satellite for civilian use, launched with a rocket propelled Long March 4B into orbit at 11:17 am on January 9. The satellite weighing 2,650kg flew into orbit 500km from Earth in about 12 minutes after it was launched.
The purpose of launching Tu Nguyen 3 satellite into orbit is to survey land resources, prevent natural disasters, develop agriculture, manage water resources and make city planning.
The mission to bring Tu Nguyen III satellite into orbit this time marked the 156th flight of a series of Long March boosters carrying Chinese satellites into successful paths.
