Close up of 3 mysterious holes on the Moon

Scientists have published a series of images of three mysterious collisions on the Moon's surface.

Experts control the camera mounted on the probe around the Moon's orbit Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) nicknamed "3 friends" anomalous collisions . They believed that they were formed a few minutes apart but it was unclear how exactly this process took place.

According to experts, it is possible that such a strange collision of three collisions could be caused by a broken meteor or comet or three separate collisions randomly formed but unique .

The Daily Mail page cited researchers to explain more clearly: 'These three collisions appear in the coordinates of 9,665 South and 7.646 degrees East on the Moon's surface. They seem to form almost at the same time, certainly only a few minutes apart. The southern hole is 180 meters in diameter, the central hole is 150 meters and the northeastern hole is 125 meters wide. From the center of the northeastern hole to the center of the southwestern pits, they last about 450 meters'.

The team estimates that objects moving from the east-northeast could have hit the Moon's surface at a relatively low angle, as evidenced by dust and other materials they bounce off. , extending up to 1km from the center of the impact.

Results of analyzing morphological data of the pits showed that the southwestern crater formed first, then the remaining 2 holes.
