'Super moon' is about to appear

This weekend's full moon phenomenon will happen when the moon approaches the globe most of the year.

The moon will appear with a round shape at 7:30 pm on 5/5 GMT (2:35 am 6/5 Vietnamese time). Because the full moon coincides with the time when it reaches the point - near the earth in orbit - the observer on Earth will see the moon bigger than normal.

hallucinations will make it bigger than the real size.

The distance between the moon and the earth in the super moon on May 6 will be 356,955km - the shortest of the lunar times to reach the point in 2012. So this will be the biggest super moon of the year, Space said.

Meteorologist Joe Rao, one of Space's writers, said that because the moon's orbit has a nearly circular shape, the distance between it and the globe at close-ups is not a fixed number, but fluctuate at a rate of 3%.

The brightness of the moon in the super moon on May 6 will be about 16% larger than the average. Scientists claim that super moon is not a disturbing phenomenon and cannot cause earthquakes or strong tides.

'However, the tide on the planet will rise very high or very low in every super moon. When the super moon takes place near the point on May 6, the gravitational pull from the moon will significantly increase the power of the tide , ' Rao said.

Astronomers advise people to observe the super moon as soon as it grows or just before it dives, because that is the time when it is close to the horizon. When the moon moves close to the horizon, hallucinations will make the observer feel bigger than the actual size.
