The first 21 days of bee life

Bees are everywhere on Earth, and often focus on rich, diverse vegetation, hundreds of flowers bloom. It can be said that wherever there are bees, there is richness and freshness.

Bees pollinate one-third of the world's food crops but are seriously threatened by a parasite on the bee called Varroa mite , also called bee colony .

In order to better understand the process of bee formation and development , photographer Anand Varma has watched and recorded this process closely.

Varma then encapsulated this journey in 60s video to help viewers get the most authentic look at the first 21 days of bee life.

When queen lays eggs, eggs hatch into larvae.Bee larva is shaped like a maggot, opaque white color, no legs, eyes, antennae, wings or stinger.

The part of the bee mouth has a simple structure, enough to summarize the abundance of food, which is placed by the worker bees close to the hole of the nest.

Most of the inner cavity of the bee larvae is the middle and final intestine , with salivary glands secreting enzymes and small excretory tubes - becoming the main inner branch structure.

The development of bees undergoes six molting ; Five molting is in the larval stage, the last molting is when the bee appears as an adult bee.

The first four molts of larvae occur once a day for worker bees and queen bees. This will help the larvae grow quickly, by shedding the outer shell when they become "tight" compared to the true size of the bee.

In the last days of the larval development cycle , larvae build cocoon nests inside the nests. To rotate the cocoon, the larvae detach the cocoon, bringing the head towards the top of the lid.

The larvae at the pre-mature stage begin to take on the adult bee's appearance only in that they still wear a coating, after this pupa it will develop into an adult bee.
