Several news sites have confirmed the incident and said that this phenomenon occurred in a mining area in Central Kalimantan province (Indonesia).
According to the Indonesian VOI website , Mr. Andri Ramdhani, director of the Indonesian Meteorological Agency, said that the thing in the video is not a natural cloud, but is most likely condensed water vapor or some gas due to human activities in the mining area. Specifically, the 'cloud' could be formed because mining activities release a type of gas with high pressure, combined with low temperature and high humidity conditions at that time.
