The 2022 Funny Animal Photography Awards has reached the final round and 40 works have been selected for this round. The moment a zebra gallops, a headless penguin, a fat seal. are 3 of the 40 works selected for the final list. This year's contest attracted thousands of photographers to participate.

The award was founded in 2015 by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam to showcase the fascinating, even quirky lives of wildlife through photography. Sullam says each photo brings a smile to the face. "There's so much to the natural world. The entries are honest, humorous takes on wildlife," Sullam says.
