Strange collection of animals

The chimp head is split in half, the vase contains 18 mole rats, or a bent piggy bank as if sleeping is some of the 67,000 specimens kept at Grant Animal Museum in London, Brother.

The Daily Mail says it is the only University of London animal museum in the city displaying a collection of animal kingdoms.

The museum was founded in 1828 by Robert Edmond Grant (1793-1874) for teaching at the newly established University of London. As a professor of animals and an anatomist in the UK, he began collecting specimens as soon as he worked at university, laying the foundations for today's massive collection of museums.
