Concerned that the satellite
The satellite named Mayak developed by Moscow Polytechnic University (MAMU) is preparing to assemble a giant pyramid mirror. Mayak in Russian means beacon and its work is shining.
Mayak was launched into space with 72 other satellites on Soyuz missiles from Kazakhstan on July 14.
This is part of a campaign to call for funding from the 12.digital advertising agency. They are investigating the possibility of putting giant billboards into the universe.
Spatial advertising ideas have been around since the 1980s, including the idea of placing giant space billboards visible from Earth.

The Russian youth group has called for a donation of $ 30,000 for this amateur satellite project. The project's executives said Mayak was located 600km from Earth. If all goes well, in the next few days, Mayak's small box will open a thin, 16-meter-wide metal reflector sheet, which is only one-tenth the thickness of a human hair.
Once the reflective plate is deployed, Mayak will cross the International Space Station (ISS) to become the brightest artificial object in the sky, flashing more than 16 times a day.
Russian designers say the reflector will illuminate with the same brightness as Venus. If the pyramid reflector was successfully opened, the brightness that Mayak created could cause problems with observing the night sky of underground telescopes.
Mayak's manufacturing team said the satellite will maintain its orbit within a month before burning.
"If the space scattered in large numbers of this kind of thing is not good because it affects the integrity of the night sky. But one or two objects tested in a short time will not hurt much. " Marco Langbroek, a follower of satellites, said on the Sky and Telescope.
Opponents of space advertising claim that they can pollute light, obscure visibility and cannot easily turn off or remove like other types of ads. In addition, a large space billboard can be seen anywhere, not just limited to a certain region or country.
