Create a protective belt around the Earth
Russian scientists are studying a project to create an orbital belt to protect the Earth from dangerous collisions with asteroids.

Scientist of the Russian Space Research Institute Nathan Eysmont claims that it is necessary to create a belt to protect the Earth from colliding with asteroids.
That belt will change the trajectory of meteors or asteroids flying to Earth and 'push' them away so that our planet is not in danger.

According to scientists, it is necessary to create a belt on the space of space about 100-200 thousand kilometers from the surface of the Earth. According to a Russian project, this belt includes objects that are brought to this orbit by manipulating gravity.
Eysmont said: "It is possible to put objects of the same size as asteroids by manipulating gravity in a very inexpensive way to create the necessary pulses to change their speed in orbit. The number of such asteroids around Earth is small, only up to dozens, but small asteroids are much larger in number and will grow in a frightening way. '
He notes that this method is more effective against celestial bodies than using space devices to fire.
Russian scientists believe that there are all the technologies needed to implement such a project.
Previously, American scientists had proposed to NASA's Aerospace Department to launch the 1999 RQ36 probe asteroid under the control of another probe, OSIRIS-Rex, to smash the asteroid.
